Aston Villa will have to pay Middlesbrough an extra fee as part of the Morgan Rogers deal.
The Midlands club have qualified for the Champions League after finishing fourth in the Premier League.
Villa secured Rogers from Boro earlier this season, with the deal including performance related add-ons.
Per The Gazette, there is also a sell-on clause in the deal if Rogers is ever moved on by Villa for a mega fee.
The 21-year-old signed a five and a half year deal with Villa and is very much one for the future.
Manager Unai Emery will hope that Rogers can push for a regular starting spot next season.
