Inter Milan hero Bergomi: I knew Bergomi would prove himself

Inter Milan hero Beppe Bergomi admits he's a fan of Francesco Acerbi.

Bergomi says he sees more of himself in Acerbi's way of playing than Alessandro Bastoni.

He said: "Someone thinks of Bastoni. An exceptional player but more technical than me. I say Acerbi: for the attention, the concentration is similar to me. When he arrived from Lazio there were some grumbles. But I replied: this guy has b***s."

On rating this season's title, he added: "Very high. Now they take everything for granted but behind it there is great work, which lasted four years. We must give credit to this team, which has reinvented itself every time.

"Once upon a time you won the Scudetto and changed very little. Now every year they face more challenges and and Inter will resume the race as before."
