New York Giants Kayvon Thibodeaux Aiming To Be Better

Thibodeaux seems a lot of room for growth and he doesn’t love what he is seeing on the tape in 2022.

“I think every time you look back at a play, you feel like you could have ate a little bit more. Last year’s film kind of disgusts me a little bit when I look at myself. I get a little cringe feeling. But it definitely is, like I said, a platform to continue to grow.”

“Anytime you look at your younger self, you always see how you’ve evolved and matured. So, now it’s me understanding who I was and who I am now and who I’m consistently growing to be.”

It’s great to see a young player so hungry for growth. Hearing that he is not satisfied with his play should excite any Giants fan.

Optimism For 2023

While there are many people who are pessimistic about the Giants’ chances in 2023, the defensive line should provide some optimism. If Thibodeaux can make a year-two jump, he is going to be a problem for opposing offensive lines. Any time that a line has to focus on one player, it opens up opportunities for others. I feel like the defensive line in New York is flying under the radar and could surprise some people. A good pass rush covers up a lot of holes and this could be one of the best in the league.

The New York Giants Kayvon Thibodeaux is going to be a player to watch in 2023. If he can become the next up-and-coming defensive end, the NFC East is going to be in trouble between him and Micah Parsons.
